Here is his TT position in The Tour of CA last year – not pretty:
The above video points out the differences in the two positions: flatter torso angle, steeper effective seat angle through the use of an Adamo Road saddle, much more drop. I continue to be amazed by Lance’s relatively low saddle position. If there is anything that could be an issue with this TT position it would be hip angle through the top of the pedal stroke, and the low saddle height just makes this worse. In any case I am sure they have worked through these issues, and this position should be far faster assuming power output is acceptable.
