New Kestrel TT Machine Nears Production

Check out this blog post by Kestrel Brand Manager Steven Harad. He’s recently returned from the A2 with apparently glowing test results in hand. Steve’s been in the biz for a long time, and I know he’s going about designing Kestrel’s new superbike the right way. Taking a cue from Felt and Cervelo, he’s using rapid prototypes so he can tweak the frame in real time to find the lowest drag design. He also now has a fine stable of athletes to provide feedback from the trenches.



Having built up Vinu (Fuel Belt) and Lis’ new Airfoils last month after spending a few years with Lis’ old airfoil, I can see the great influence Steve has had on that frame. Lis has always been a fan, but the airfoil had no problem filling Vinu’s old P3c’s shoes. I haven’t seen him riding better than he has in the past month – so at the very least the Airfoil isn’t holding him back! Lis’ results at Rev3 speak for themselves.
